Two-year-old colt debutant purchased for AUD $130,000 (Inglis 2021 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale) by Maurice out of Banksia. Jump outs have been good and looks like measuring up to these.
6. RURA PENTHE ($2.25)
Three-year-old gelding first-starter by Maurice out of Zing And Swing purchased for AUD $ 210,000 (Inglis 2020 Classic Yearling Sale). Nice jump outs and just given a quiet time. Respect any positive market lead.

Returns from the paddock. Finished off last preparation began awkwardly; third of 9 at this track 3yo+ (Bm72) November 26 over 1550m, on heavy track; 4 len behind Heza Gentleman with 59kg at $1.40. Previous preparation first-up favourite; won by 5 len Hawkesbury (Bm64) November 4 over 1400m on heavy track defeating Viking Power carrying 60kg at $1.50. Looks forward enough after a recent trial win. Expect a bold showing.

Last start raced on the speed and boxed on steadily to finish third of 11 runners at Sandown-Hillside 3yo BM70 on April 30 over 1300m, slow track; 1.0 len behind Canbya with 56.5kg at $3.50 and before that raced on speed throughout then finished first of 10 starters at Ballarat 3yo+ MDN on April 5 over 1200m, slow track. Looks hard to toss.
