- SCOTTISH DANCER ($2.50)
Was ultra impressive last start as a short priced favourite, settling down near the rear of the field and letting down strongly to score by a length in a similar grade. The start before, he settled midfield and charged home to just miss. Looks to be a bit of speed here, so he should appreciate the tempo and can hit the line well again.
- SO WICKED ($4.80)
Has been racing well this prep, particularly in her past three runs where she has scored two absolutely dominant wins by over three lengths or more. The run inbetween, she was narrowly only narrowly beaten. Favourite here Highmaster looks vulnerable past 1600m and So Wicked can slot in just behind the leading pair. Should be right there again.
- PROMOTIONS ($2.50)
Has only had the ten career starts but he has certainly shown some talent, winning the Canberra Guineas last prep and most recently, trialling well behind Everest second place getter Bivouac. Was solid first up in what was a stronger class than this, and he will definitely appreciate the weaker field here.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- ENTENTE ($17)
Entente has been an iron horse in recent runs, winning his past two starts in brave fashion. Two back, he defeated Vegas Jewel after looking defeated with 200m to go. Last start, he put in a brilliant all-the-way performance when winning the Port Macquarie Cup. He jumps up in class here, but is rock hard fit and will give you his all. Can’t knock winning form.
