SANDOWN – RACE 4 2100m 14:45 AEDT
MISS DAMITA ($2.60)
Racing in top form at the moment and was especially impressive last start when winning the Mortlake Cup in dominant fashion. She took over at the 400m and booted clear to score by 3+ lengths. Prior to that scored another win at Kyneton when jumping up to 1875m. Should appreciate this distance and looks a great chance.
SANDOWN – RACE 7 1600m 16:30 AEDT
NEIGHBOURHOOD ($3.00)
Resumes here after a 164-day spell. Her last prep consisted of four runs, with three of them coming at BM78 grade or higher. Has ran well behind some good types including Fidelia and Heavenly Emperor. Looks for mine to be a big improver this prep and that can start here with a first up win.
ROSEHILL – RACE 7 1500m 18:40 AEDT
STATUESQUELY ($2.45)
Coming off two narrow defeats to start this prep but should be primed for a third up victory. Draws the widest barrier here but should still be able to find the lead. Despite carrying 61kg, Tim Clark is a great frontrunning jockey which offsets that weight. He should be able to give this Mare every chance in the last.

SANDOWN – RACE 5 2400m 15:20 AEDT
BARBIE’S BOY ($9)
Took a big step up in grade last start at Morphettville when jumping from BM60 > BM80. Was largely unfavoured there but ran solidly to fill the placings at $51. The key for me is the distance here; he has ran solid races at 2500m in the past and looks to be rock hard fit here. Dropping back in class here helps also and I think he looks a solid each-way wager.
