- FASHCHANEL ($2.60)
Fashchanel can get punters off to an early flyer here. She looks a great chance up against this field after scoring a solid win last start. In her two starts prior, she had excuses in both and was vetted post race in both. Last prep, she was close up in harder grade than this. Will be tough to beat here.
- MARENGO ($5.00)
Really like the look of Sir Marengo here in what looks to be a fairly open race. He won like a good thing two starts back at Moe, sitting on the rail and exploding at the 500m mark to score by over 4 lengths. He jumped up in class next start but held his own, finishing 2.5 lengths away at BM78 grade. Back down to BM64 grade here looks suitable.
- MR NOSEY ($6.00)
The 7-year-old gelding Nosey can return with a bang here for Kris Lees. He was very good first up last prep on a Heavy Gosford track, winning by three quarters of a length to Mr Polar. He jumped up in grade the following start and ran well again. He’s had a trial in anticipation for this, so I’m tipping he’ll be right to go first up.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- DASHING ‘N’ DARING ($23)
Few up and comers here, but I’m looking for one of the veterans to pull through at big odds. Dashing ‘n’ Daring has been racing very well recently, finishing in the placings in his last two runs. He hit the line impressively in both runs and there looks to be adequate speed in this race. He should also appreciate the spacious Randwick track.
