John O'shea trained two-year-old filly lining up for debut. Half-sister to NZ Group 1 winners A Touch Of Ruby and Loire. Nice barrier trial win at Randwick over 736m on May 2. Strong chance to break through on debut.

 

 

RANDWICK - RACE 5 - 14:35 AEST

3. NIFFLER ($2.90)

Resuming after a four month break. Finished off last preparation poor recovery; third of 8 at Rosehill 3yo+ (Bm78) January 15 over 2000m, soft track; 5.5 len behind Sword Point carrying 54.5kg at $2. Previous preparation first-up favourite; won by 0.5 len (began awkwardly; inconvenienced early on; lost ground) Wyong Hcp (C1) November 25 over 1350m slow track defeating Cushy with 57.5kg at $3.80. Form shown last campaign makes for good reading.

 

 

 

RANDWICK - RACE 6 - 15:10 AEST

4. GLITTERY ($3.10)

Half-sister to three-time Group 1 winner Bivouac. Resumes. Finished off last preparation taken back from wide barrier and held up on straightening; fourth of 9 at Warwick Farm 3-4yo (Bm64) December 8 over 1300m, 1.3 len behind Too Much Lippy carrying 58kg at $3.80. Previous preparation first-up favourite; won by a long-neck Wyong (Bm64) November 25 over 1100m slow track defeating Never Second with 55.5kg at $3.50. Definite winning hope.

 

 

 

 

RANDWICK - RACE 8 - 16:20 AEST

7. DEEP FINESSE ($1.80)

Having third race start. When well in the market at debut, hung out near 800m; 3rd of 7 at Canberra Mdn on March 30 over 1000m, 2.75 len behind Drummin with 58.5kg at $4.50. Second-up won by 4.5 len at Warwick Farm 3yo+ Mdn April 18 over 1100m in the wet defeating Marooniyah with 58.5kg at $13. Has been racing well. Top prospects.
