CAULFIELD – RACE 4 1000m 12:30 AEDT
MONTENEGRO MAN ($3.60)
Looks a great chance here resuming from a 160-day spell after a very short two race prep, which included two solid runs but no victories. He brings a sound first up record into this 3: 1-1-1 and looks to have a couple of lengths on his main rivals who are also resuming here. Williams should be able to give this a good steer and should be right in the finish.
RANDWICK – RACE 4 1150m 16:05 AEDT
LET IT POUR ($1.85)
This Bjorn Baker trained Filly comes up short here but should take some beating. Last start may have hurt for some punters, jumping a red hot $1.10 favourite, charging home but failing to reel in Belle of Clonmei. She should be better for that run and with form around Funstar and Libertini last prep it won’t be long before she breaks her maiden.
RANDWICK – RACE 5 1150m 16:40 AEDT
VOILA ($3.80)
Ran a solid race first up, running home from the back to finish within a length and a half of eventual winner Worldy Pleasure. Form last prep is good for this race; she was racing against some strong types but still managed to score an impressive win during the prep, running on from the back to score. Looks to be decent pace in the race here which should suit her. With the right run she can storm over the top of this field late.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
CAULFIELD – RACE 8 1440m 14:40 AEDT
GHODELEINE ($11.00)
First up from a 146-day spell here but has raced well first up previously, with her most recent first up run a 2-length defeat at Sale in this grade. Got better and better last prep, running solidly in all four of her runs before finally scoring a deserved win at Sandown to finish the prep. Looks to be over the odds here and if she returns well can feature in the finish.
