CRANBOURNE RACE 3 – 13:35 AEST
- LUNAR FLARE ($2.35)
Lunar Flare exploded last start in her first go past 1800m, winning impressively at Sandown over the 2100m in a similar grade. She has shown ability in the past, namely a 6 length rout at The Valley in her debut prep. Sticks at 2025m here which should suit and she should be primed for this fourth up.
CRANBOURNE RACE 4 – 14:10 AEST
- BOOMSTOCK ($2.40)
Boomstock had been solid this prep, scoring three consecutive seconds to kick off his prep. He surprisingly failed two starts back at Sandown after enjoying a cosy run one out, one back. He returned to form the following start however, and scored a strong win over Brimm, who he faces again here today. Confident that two back run was a blip and he can continue his strong form.
CRANBOURNE RACE 6 – 15:20 AEST
- HARLEM BLUES ($5.00)
This lightly trained colt has been racing on the synthetic in his past two starts, and finally scored a win last start in impressive fashion. He jumped a $2.60 favourite and was able to win accordingly, sitting in second the entire race, before taking over in the straight to win by nearly 3 lengths. The strength of his late sectionals suggest he is a quality type and is right in the mix here.

CRANBOURNE RACE 2 – 13:00 AEST
- DAANIA ($11)
Going with the Binaisse trained filly here, who has only had the one start in her career so far. She jumped $1.35 favourite on debut at Strathalbyn and won comfortably by 2 lengths. She was quickly spelled and now resumes here after 230 days off. I’m banking on her to take improvement from the spell and to return bigger and stronger. This is a wide open race and she can put herself in the mix.
