AL DORAMA ($2.50)
Has shown his talent in the past and was immediately moved up to Group 2 level (where he showed little), but he has definitely been identified as a quality type by the trainer. Was first up last start after a 299-day spell at this grade. Should improve markedly second up and looks tough to beat here.
SANDOWN – RACE 6 1800m 15:55 AEST
TAVISTOCK DANCER ($4.80)
Showed his ability last prep, scoring back to back wins to kick off his career before going for a spell. Since resumed at Caulfield in higher grade than this and finished within 4.4L of the winner – not a bad effort coming off a long spell. Has trialled well since then and looks to have taken improvement off that run. Back in class here and looks a great chance.
WARWICK FARM – RACE 6 1600m 16:20 AEST
KNOWITALL JACK ($2.80)
Racing in terrific form at the moment, finishing third in his return on a heavy track before scoring a strong victory at Canterbury the following run. Up in weight slightly but has an apprentice claim which should help. Is now rock hard fit and ready to strike again.

LIKE THE CLAPPERS ($9.00)
Has a bit of an interesting career record – sporting zero wins from either GOOD or SOFT tracks, but nine 1st or 2nd placings on HEAVY tracks. Critically, gets out to a heavy track here and after two consecutive solid runs in a row it could be his time. Up in class, but Teo Nugent claims 2kg. Looks a chance
