FLEMINGTON RACE 4 – 14:05 AEDT
- LIGHTSABER ($4.20)
Lightsaber has had an impressive start to his career thus far, finishing second on debut before going on to win his next two starts. He was especially impressive winning last start against the talented Daily Bugle in an all-the-way performance at Sandown. He’s got plenty of upside to come and can make it three on the trot.
FLEMINGTON RACE 6 – 15:25 AEDT
- SEPTEMBER RUN ($2.10)
Came up a touch short against the supremely impressive Nature Strip when resuming at Flemington last start over 1000m. He got back there and flashed home, but the speedy Nature Strip was off and gone. September Run steps out to 1200m here and should take great improvement from his first up run. He’ll take a world of beating here.
- MO’UNGA ($6.50)
Aegon looks to extend his undefeated career streak to six wins here, and looks a great chance to do so, however, I’m siding with the Neasham trained Mo’unga who hit the line strongly when resuming in the CS Hayes behind Tagaloa last start. Mo’unga still has plenty of upside to come and an upward career trajectory. Aegon is certainly the one to beat, but Mo’unga looks a massive chance here.

FLEMINGTON RACE 3 – 13:30 AEDT
- SO SI BON ($10)
Few resuming runners here, including the favourite Odeum, who was impressive last prep when winning the Group 1 Empire Rose. If Odeum returns below his best, So Si Bon looks a great value bet after an impressive return at Caulfield at Group 1 level. He was unfancied and finished just 3L away from Probabeel there. Will be improved second up and looks right in this.
