- ANOTHER ONE ($2.50)
Has been a very solid start to this Gelding’s career, scoring three wins from just five career starts. He kicked off his career with two wins at Wagga in his first three runs, but showed he was capable of stepping up in grade, scoring a dominant 3L victory at Randwick. He’s been given a freshen for this and looks well placed here.
- APRIL RAIN ($2.05)
Looks like a supremely talented mare. She’s had just three starts but has caught the eye in each of her past two runs, settling midfield and displaying a withering burst of speed to score both times. She’s third up here today & will take beating once again, especially out to 1300m.
- LA MEXICANA ($3)
Looks terribly hard to beat here after drawing the inside barrier. The 3YO filly will be able to use the inside to her advantage and sit close to the speed. She resumed in impressive fashion on Australia Day, defeating Miss Albania & Absolute Flirt. She’s got plenty of upside left to come and can win again here.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- ULYSSES ($13)
This race is genuinely anyones, so I’m going with a Bluey faithful in Ulysses. He’s been in top form this prep, scoring two wins and is yet to finish further away than 1.3L in any of his five runs. He’s rock hard fit here and should get a comfortable lead. He looks a genuine chance here at decent double figure odds.
