- GREAT HOUSE ($3.20)
This 5-year-old Waller trained gelding has had just three career starts, and just one in Australia. He had his first start in Australia just two weeks ago, finishing a handy 3L away from High ‘n’ Dry & Hasseltoff. He’ll be much better for the run and should improve here second up out to 2000m.
- YULONG CAPTAIN ($3.30)
Yulong Captain is fourth up here today and looks a great chance to score over 2400m after a solid start to the prep. He was just fair first up when obviously wanting further, before being very unlucky 2nd up at Caulfield. He finished off well again in his most recent run and looks like he will relish the step up to 2400m - a distance in which he won twice last prep.
- FROSTY ROCKS ($3.60)
Giving Frosty one more chance here in a return to Sydney. He’s been costly for punters in his past couple, getting rolled at an SP of $4 or less in his past four starts. He’ll bowl along in front again and faces no pressure from his opposition. Last chance for Frosty, but he should be in this for a long way.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- RETURN WITH HONOUR ($16)
Returns to Sydney after a brief stint in Queensland over the New Year. He resumed first up at Canterbury with a narrow 2nd behind the talented Malkovich, before finishing in the placings in his next two. He has been racing in top form this prep, but has been unable to secure a win. Should run well again here.
