BLUEY’S BEST
- DEEP SPEED ($4.80)
Deep Speed looks well placed here after a sound performance last start in harder grade. He finished third, just 1.6 lengths away after sitting outside the leader throughout. Prior to that, he scored a narrow victory here in Open grade. Looks to be a bit of speed early here, but he looks one of the main chances and the price looks good.
- GENERAL BEAU ($3.50)
General Beau has displayed a high level of talent in the past, having won at Group 3 level and finishing not far away at Group 1 level last prep. He resumed last start here but was unable to match it with Ingratiating in the straight. He should take great benefit from that run & the Colt no doubt has a ton of upside to come. Should be right there again.
- ZIEGFIELD ($6.50)
This race looks wide open, but former overseas runner Ziegfield looks to have a slight edge on the field in my opinion. He’s yet to score an Australian win, but has been close in his last two starts. He led throughout last start, but was unable to quicken in the straight & was collared late. He pulled up with poor post-race recovery after the race, so it’s fair to say he may have had a little extra in the tank. Back to 1700m here no issue & should go close again.

KEMBLA GRANGE RACE 3 – 12:40 AEST
- FOXBOROUGH ($11)
Another wide open race here & the best value looks to be Foxborough, who hit the line well last start at Randwick. She sat midfield and was slightly hampered in the middle stages, but was still able to let down in the straight to finish 0.4 lengths away. In her races prior, she’s had some issues which have not flattered her finishing position. Could be one to improve drastically here.
