MOONEE VALLEY – RACE 5 1300m 14:25 AEDT
CONDO’S EXPRESS ($3.60)
Talented gelding who is progressing through the grades nicely. He showcased his talent with back to back wins at The Valley before going for a freshen and returning in the Group 3 Blue Sapphire. Over-raced throughout that run and had to run wide rounding the turn but still ran on solidly. Should improve off that run and looks tough to beat here.
MOONEE VALLEY – RACE 6 2040m 15:00 AEDT
BATTENBURG ($2.40)
Only had the four career starts to date and is yet to score a win. That doesn’t put me off at all here as he was unlucky to not win two back and last start was up against the supremely talented Shadow Hero & Castelvecchio and managed to finish within a length. That was his first go at 2000m and now he is back to an easier grade. If runs up to last start should take beating.
RANDWICK – RACE 5 1200m 15:20 AEDT
REELEM IN RUBY ($3.30)
Great return on the back of two lead in trials, however she was held up during the early part of the straight which likely cost her the win. She flew late, running a race-best 11.76 final 200m. She progressed nicely last prep and looks to have come back even better. She can continue her rise through the grades here.

MOONEE VALLEY – RACE 8 1600m 16:10 AEDT
ROX THE CASTLE ($14)
Has hardly put a foot wrong this preparation, finishing first or second in all five of his runs thus far. Now also sports a career record of 14: 8-3-0 which shows us further he is no slouch. Goes up in grade here, straight to Group 2 level but outside of Dreamforce, the race is fairly weak. He might be able to lead them along from the wider barrier and could prove tough to catch in the short Valley straight.
