D’AGUILAR ($3.10)
Lightly raced gelding who is only having his fourth career start here. Yet to miss a place in his career, which has also included two wins. Had a long spell (391 days) prior to resuming last start yet ran a quality race at Pakenham for a half-length defeat. Should be much fitter second up here and with the second favourite out of form, he looks a great chance
RANDWICK – RACE 4 2000m 15:00 AEDT
FUN FACT ($3.40)
Found success last start jumping up to 2000m but was narrowly overrun by Guise late. Prior to that was good at 1600m, finishing just a length away from Aqua D’ivina. Draws barrier 1 here which looks critical as there are a lack of other frontrunners in the race, meaning he should get a comfortable time in front. Should be rock hard fit fourth up and expect another solid run here.
FLEMINGTON – RACE 6 1200m 16:00 AEDT
CAN’T BE DONE ($3.80)
Ultra-consistent horse who has returned well from a spell with two consecutive second placings. Last prep defeated King of Hastings third up during a successful preparation. Gets in with a reasonable 57kg after Stockdale’s 3kg claim which will help. Looks primed for a win third up and expect him to be fighting out the finish.

FLEMINGTON – RACE 7 1400m 16:40 AEDT
VIOLATE ($9.00)
Favourite has been in terrific form recently but comes up a touch short for mine here. Violate looks the best priced out of the rest, and also sports a terrific first up record (8: 3-1-1). Also think he brings a class edge here having previously finished close up in races such as the Group 3 BRC Sprint. Draws widest here but the field is not overly large so there’s a good chance he will be able to slot in. Looks a great each way chance.
