FLEMINGTON RACE 3 – 12:55 AEST
- ZORRO’S DREAM ($6.00)
The Freedman trained gelding has been racing well this prep, finishing second three times as well as winning twice, from just six runs. Could have easily won his past two races, which would have seen him score four wins on the trot. Hard to knockin winning form, so he gets the green light from me here.
FLEMINGTON RACE 6 – 14:45 AEST
- NAMAKWA ($4.00)
Namakma looks a promising type for the Maher/Eustace stable. The colt has now won three races from just seven runs, including two on the trot. Scored a sharp victory last start when blinkers applied for the first time. He’s looking for three wins in a row here & looks a great chance to do so.
FLEMINGTON RACE 7 – 15:25 AEST
- CURRAN ($4.00)
Curran was superb last start, settling midfield before scooting through at the 200m mark to take the lead and score nicely. Start prior, he was up against a good one in Ayrton and only went down by 1.25L. They thrashed third by a further 4L. Has gone to the next level in his past few starts and if he can hold the form, he’ll be terribly hard to beat.

FLEMINGTON RACE 2 – 12:20 AEST
- SAUNTER BOY ($15)
Saunter Boy has been at the top of his game recently. However, he’s been partaking in jumps races and now returns to the flat here. Last start, he raced over 3900m at Sandown and won by an incredible 10L. His last flat race was in March this year, where he was first up and ran quite well, finishing just 1.7L away. This is certainly an interesting race for him and it’ll be interesting to see how he runs. Certainly has the fitness.
