Racing well. Most recently favourite; raced right near the speed and boxed on; won by a long-neck at this track 3yo+ (Bm88) January 29 over 1200m defeating The Bopper with 57kg at $1.90. The run before that favourite; tracked the speed and boxed on steadily; won by a head at this track 3&4yo (Bm72) January 8 over 1100m on a soft track defeating Joviality carrying 60kg at $4.50. This is well within his grasp. Clearly flying.
1. Entente ($6.50)
Resumes. Finished off last preparation third of 12 at Randwick St Leger October 16 over 2600m, soft track; 2.75 len behind Warning with 57.5kg at $4. Previously first up; eighth of 13 at Randwick 3yo+ (Bm94) September 4 over 1500m, soft track; 3.5 len behind Soldier Of Love with 61kg at $61. Definite winning hope.
FLEMINGTON RACE 7 – 16:25 AEDT
1.Nature Strip ($2.60)
World's premier sprinter. Finished off last preparation to post a big 3.5 len win. This track G1 Darley Classic November 6 over 1200m defeating Swats That carrying 58.5kg at $1.30. Previous preparation first-up favourite; won by 2.5 len (began awkwardly; bumped rival) Randwick G3 Tab Concorde September 4 over 1000m defeating Wild Ruler carrying 60.5kg at $1.50. Won this last year to kickstart a superb 2021. The title is his - it's up to the others to take it.
FLEMINGTON RACE 8 – 17:05 AEDT
8. MR BRIGHTSIDE ($7)
Resuming after a four months break. Finished off last preparation began awkwardly; fourth of 14 at this track in the G1 Cantala Stks October 30 over 1600m, a neck behind Superstorm carrying 52kg at $5. Previously first up; shifted out at start; second of 13 at Bendigo Mdn July 1 over 1400m, soft track; a head behind Toomuchtobear with 59.5kg at $2.90. Strung wins together in the spring. Lovely kick off point for him.
