ROSEHILL – RACE 4 1100m 14:35 AEDT
GREYWORM ($3.70)
Greyworm has now won his past three starts and is some serious form. Resumed with a very strong first up performance, controlling the race out in front and finishing strongly to score by 2.3L over Spending To Win. Should be fitter here and can take a sit just in behind the leaders. Looks a solid bet.
CAULFIELD – RACE 5 2000m 15:25 AEDT
SECRET BLAZE ($2.80)
Secret Blaze was given a freshen before his last start and it seemed to work wonders. He ran brilliantly at Flemington last start and finished just a length-and-a-half behind Fifty Stars who won the Group 1 Australian Cup last week, despite racing 3 wide no-cover. Back to 2000m looks suitable and should be in the finish.
ROSEHILL – RACE 8 2000m 17:05 AEDT
MASTER OF WINE ($2.80)
Master Of Wine looks extremely hard to beat after resuming with a dominating first up win over an unsuitable 1400m. Straight to 2000m here which is more suitable but will test his fitness second up. Looks to be a serious horse who is onto bigger and better things. Will be extremely tough to beat here.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
ROSEHILL – RACE 5 1500m 15:10 AEDT
SPEND ($13.00)
Loved the run of Spend last week at Flemington. He raced in the inferior ground on speed but was still able to put together a strong race and score a 1 length victory. Will find this much harder against Funstar and Probabeel but he looks to get an uncontested lead out in front and could prove tough to run down.
