BLUEY’S BEST BETS - 12/06/2020
BLUEY’S BEST
- ICE IN VANCOUVER ($3.10)
Ice In Vancouver looks like an interesting prospect here. The 3YO gelding has now won three out of his four career starts, with his one career loss coming in the Kosciuszko where he dropped out of the race with cardiac arrhythmia. He resumed at Tamworth last start with an impressive 4 length victory. Has been given a freshen here and goes up in class, but looks a great chance to take it to the next level.
- KIRWAN’S LANE ($3.60)
Kirwan’s Lane was super impressive last start at Rosehill, settling midfield before Avdulla hugged the rails and moved him into 2nd near the 400m mark. He found room near the 350m mark and got the upper hand in a two horse battle with Ellsberg, with a 7.4 length gap back to third. Looks well placed here again and looks the one to beat.
- CORNER POCKET ($3.70)
Corner Pocket has risen through the grades impressively in his past few runs, graduating from Maiden grade back in November and last start scoring a win at BM78 grade. Up in class here but he has looked impressive in each run this prep. He’s now scored five wins in a row and still looks to have some upside to come. Gets another good chance here.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- RUBY TUESDAY ($9)
Ruby Tuesday has been racing well this prep, finishing close up in her first two before scoring a very strong all-the-way victory in this grade at Hawkesbury. She followed that up with two plain runs, however, she had excuses in both runs. She looks like a great candidate to bounce back here and put in another top performance. Looks a great value bet.
