FLEMINGTON RACE 3 – 13:05 AEST
- ARCADIA QUEEN ($3.20)
Talented WA galloper who has made the move East, but yet to live up to expectations in comparison to his WA resume. He scored a Group 2 victory last Spring and ran well in both The Everest and the Golden Eagle, but came up short in both. Resumed off a long spell last start at Caulfield and just boxed on fairly. He’ll take a lot of improvement from that run, whereas Savatiano was likely to be much more forward in that run. Should prove tough to beat.
- SHE’S IDEEL ($3.90)
Put in an eye-catching run first up at Rosehill. She was last rounding the turn, a long way back from the leaders and stormed home to finish just 1.1L away from the winner Dancing Gidget. She got better and better with each run last prep, so I’m confident she’ll be able to improve from her first up performance. With even luck, she should be right in the finish.
- MO’UNGA ($2.75)
Mo’unga looks supremely talented, winning both of his career starts to date. He was particularly impressive last start at Newcastle, putting in strong sectionals to win in dominant fashion. Despite that run being only in BM64 grade, the way he won was very sharp and he looks on his way to bigger and better things. He’ll be tough to beat here again.

- YOUNG RASCAL ($11)
Made a splash first up in Australia last prep, defeating the talented Mugatoo in the Group 3 Manion Cup at Rosehill. Failed the following start on a Heavy track over 3200m before being spelled. Resumed last start at Caulfield and ran fairly, but was over 2000m, slightly short of his best. Gets out to 2500m here, which should be much more suitable for him. Can be a big improver second up.
