Scary taking short odds about unraced 2YOs but think you have to believe the eye with the way he’s trialled. Well-schooled for his debut here in what looks a weak field. Think only bad luck beats him.
3. Overpass ($5.50)
Clear favours on speed and inside last start but I think he’s the horse to beat again. Controls the race on speed and can give a kick on straightening with the fitness edge.
9. Verry Ellegaant ($5)
Some concern coming off a two-mile prep but obvious best horse in race and rarely does she not run well first up. Drawn to sit a little closer from the gate and any rain is of course a bonus.
7. SINAWANN ($7)
CF ORR – SINAWANN (Caulfield Race 8 No 7) Very good return over the unsuitable 1200m hitting the line with real intent. Peak figure this course and distance which I can see him elevating with the prep under his belt. Boasts a fitness edge and options from the draw.
