HALESBURY GUINEAS - HAWKESBURY RACE 7 – 15:00 AEDST HAWAII FIVE OH (Hawkesbury Race 7 No 7) - Steps considerably in grade but looks the horse of upside and ready to peak now third up. Drawn for a nice run in transit with Nash aboard. Betting late as think we get better.
HAWKESBURY CROWN - HAWKESBURY RACE 8 – 15:40 AEDST WRITTEN BEAUTY (Hawkesbury Race 8 No 6) - Risky commodity but happy to have something on her at the double figures here. Has been flying but just bombing the start in recent times. Trialled up super in the interim for this so hoping she’s on her game Saturday and can settle a touch closer from the good draw. Good bet if she can.
BEST - HAWKESBURY RACE 1 – 11:25 AEDST QUASIMOTO (Hawkesbury Race 1 No 1) With a number of these coming through the same race at this course last time out, Quasimoto looks the different form and potentially the A form coming out of some really nice races. 1100-1400m a slight niggle but gives every indication he’ll be suited by more ground. Happy to be on.
VALUE - HAWKESBURY RACE 10 – 17:55 AEST WICKLOW (Hawkesbury Race 10 No 5) Super return in a farcically run race at Rosehill. He was fantastic in running the second fastest last 200m of the day and the winner, Tamerlane, has already come out and franked the form in winning emphatically since. Great draw with Nash going aboard. Tough race but strong bet.
