Bluey’s Best Saturday Racing Bets – 6 July 2019

BLUEY’S BEST BETS – 06/07/2019

RANDWICK - RACE 3 1100m 12:40 AEST

EMBRACER ($3.10)

Another horse I liked which was scratched during the week. He took advantage of the hot rail at Canterbury last start, where he railed to lead and booted clear at the 250m, exuding his class over the field. The tongue tie was added there and might have helped control his rhythm. He comes up against the talented Sir Elton, but I think Embracer can ensure he’s not “Still Standing” today.

FLEMINGTON - RACE 4 2600m 13:30 AEST

FUTURE SCORE ($2.65)

Has really relished the staying contents in his previous two starts, with the heavy ground turning both runs into slugfests. The jump to 2600m should suit and the second favourite Chouxting The Mob looks vulnerable jumping up to 60kg. On the other hand Future Score gets in with only 54kg, making him extremely hard to beat here.

BLUEY’S BEST VALUE

FLEMINGTON – RACE 7 1200m 15:30 AEST

MALIBU STYLE ($10.00)

Warhorse who is having his 55th career start here. Racing in top form at the moment, showcased by a narrow half-length defeat to the talented Jungle Edge at Sandown last start. Prior to that finished 0.3L away from Bandipur at Caulfield. Feel the market should be much closer and looks a great value play.

FLEMINGTON – RACE 1 1400m 11:45 AEST

ORGANZA ($1.80)

She’s a notable bridesmaid but I was extremely impressed by her run last start at Ipswich where she just found one better in Ready To Prophet. She was 13th at the 400m and by the time she got out, the race was all but over. Tipped this mare last week and thought she’d run well before being scratched. Comes into an easier race here and looks extremely hard to beat.
