Has been well supported since markets opened and looks to be the one to beat here after a disappointing first up run in what was a much harder class at Warwick Farm. Has been freshened since that run and drops back in class here. Form last prep was solid and barrier 2 looks ideal.
Bendigo – Race 1 1300m 14:45 AEDT
OLYMPIC LAD ($1.70)
Somewhat of a perennial bridesmaid, Olympic Lad has finished second in five of his outings and added a further three runs for third. That might put a lot of people off, but in my opinion the on-pacer looks perfectly suited to break his maiden status here. Should be able to roll to the front and control the small field.
Bendigo - Race 5 2200m 17:05 AEDT
LATIN BEAT ($3.00)
Lightly raced 5yo gelding who is building a lovely overall record (4: 2-1-0). Debuted in Oz last winter for a narrow defeat over 2400m after coming over from Ireland. Last start 1800m narrowly scored at Sandown after a long layoff. Strips fitter for that run and gets out to 2200m here which looks ideal.

LADY SELKIRK ($27.00)
Has drifted markedly since markets opened but the price on offer now simply looks too big. First up run was only fair but she has always taken a run or two to get going. She will have definitely taken improvement from that run and has a great record at this distance (5: 3-0-1). Good second up record and could run a cheeky race at odds here.
