BLUEY’S BEST BETS – 03/07/2019
CANTERBURY – RACE 1 1100m 12:50 AEST
BRAZILICA ($2.35)
Has only had the two starts in her short career but looks a very talented type. She won on debut in dominant fashion before jumping up in class and running into the talented Roheryn. This looks like a fairly easy race for the Waller filly to resume in and if she has progressed since last prep as expected, she’ll be tough to get past.
CANTERBURY - RACE 5 1250m 15:10 AEST
EMBRACER ($2.00)
Took advantage of the hot rail at Canterbury last start, where he railed to lead and booted clear at the 250m, exuding his class over the field. The tongue tie was added there and might have helped control his rhythm. He should be able to find a relatively similar position in running here and he can dish out similar treatment.
SANDOWN - RACE 8 2100m 16:30 AEST
SWEET MISCHIEF ($4.50)
Put together a really nice prep during the Spring, finishing 1st three times out of seven starts. She has returned to the track in fantastic order this prep, notching a dead-heat win last start and a narrow second prior to that. Loves this distance and looks to get a gun run. Hard to beat.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
SANDOWN – RACE 4 1300m 14:10 AEST
LA MER CELTIQUE ($11.00)
Only had two starts in her career but looks like a fairly nice type in the making. Both of her runs have been on the Synthetic track and looked solid in both of them. There’s every chance she could improve markedly going to the grass. Has been well backed in early markets and looks close to breaking her maiden status
