Bendigo R5
Itchy Ears from the Jason Warren stable has some good form lines behind her. She ran third behind Yulong Meteor who placed second in the Oaks Trial at Flemington a couple of weeks ago. She Is also coming off a freshen up which can make a lot of difference for young fillies.
Miss Coolangatta from the Paul Preusker yard is the current favourite after a win over 2040m at Moonee Valley last Friday night however she is on a very quick back-up and step down in trip from 10 furlongs back to eight is a bit of a question.
Tip: Itchy Ears $19 Each Way

For some value, I like the chances of Smokin Bella in this race. She has just moved over to the Weir stable from the Maher and Eustace yard after a disappointing few runs.
A change of scenery can do so much for older mares and I’m tipping she will have been doing a lot of beach work down at Warrnambool.
However, what I really like about this mare is how much she relishes a soft track and with plenty of rain and not much sun forecasted across Victoria over the next 24 hours, we should have some nice sting out of the track.
Tip: Smokin' Bella $21 Place

There are two horses in this race that look to be a class above the rest of the field and they are Girl Tuesday from the Chris Waller yard and Aqua D’ivina from Matthew Smith’s stable. Girl Tuesday is a regally bred horse being out of star mare Tuesday Joy and she is yet to be defeated so I think she can win this and go on to some bigger and better things.
Aqua D’ivina is an almighty consistent mare only ever finishing in the top two in her five race starts. She has been building up to stepping out to the mile and I think it will suit her nicely.
Her dam was a Group 1 winner over a mile and ran second in a Caulfield Cup and her sire, Pierro, was a Group 1 winner over the mile as well so I think the further this horse goes in distance, there better she will be
Tip: Girl Tuesday ($1.65) & Aqua D’ivina ($4.60) Quinella
