The $400,000 purchase is so far living up to expectations, scoring two hugely impressive wins from two starts in his short career. Last start sat toward the lead at Kensington before cantering in by six lengths. Jumps up in class here but looks to have untapped potential. Promising horse.
Rosehill – Race 3 2400m 13:45 AEDT
SHRAAOH ($3.50)
Overseas import who scored a win in his first ever Australian start last prep at Flemington. That was on a heavy track and I’m confident he’ll get through the ground again here. Improving with each run this prep, including a narrow defeat to Hiyaam last start. Out to 2400m which looks suitable and a true staying test should be right up his alley.
Mornington - Race 4 1200m 14:05 AEDT
MUSIC BAY ($2.75)
Went under as a $1.40 favourite last start which has likely scared a few punters off, but the rail was red hot that day at Sandown and basically no runner made up ground that day. Form before that is strong despite only having one win under his name – has raced against the likes of Mystic Journey, Smart Melody and Amphitrite.

SERENE MISS ($10.00)
Talented horse who took out the Provincial Championship last year and has scored 6 wins from 9 career starts. Was solid first up when going back from a wide barrier before finishing off nicely only 1.9L away from the winner. Price simply looks too big for a proven winner.
