Do or die for these two sides and it looks a cracker to kick off the second week of the finals. The Tigers had a surprise loss last weekend to the Lions but boy oh boy 5 more mins and they would have won that game as they were coming home with a wet sail. They really missed Tom Lynch last weekend giving them another avenue to goal. He is back this weekend so look for him to be the main focus when heading forward. The Saints surprised me last weekend beating the Bulldogs in a thriller. There younger players really stood up but jeez the task of beating the Tigers this weekend has got a lot tougher with Ryder, Carlise and Long all out. Ryder won’t return this year as he has done a bad hammy. They will really miss Longs run and carry he is a star. If the Saints are to win tonight, they need to take the game on early, no fear just long balls into the forward line and try and get the Tigers on the back foot. The Tigers big names didn’t have their greatest game last weekend so they will be out to prove the doubters wrong. Dusty needs to fire up. Tigers by 15+

Geelong Cats vs Collingwood Pies

What a game this will be between two of the biggest clubs in Australia. The Cats pushed the Power most of the way last week but just fell away in the last qtr. If Dangerfield can get off the chain tomorrow night watch out Collingwood. Well the Pies surprised me last weekend beating the Eagles in Perth. Mason Cox pulled out a very special finals performance and was unstoppable for the game. If he can provide a target up forward this weekend for his midfield it will help the Pies win this game. De Goey needs to kick 3 goals to beat the Cats. When these two sides played earlier this year De Goey had it on a string kicking 5 goals in a famous Collingwood win. I worry that the travel from Perth back to Brisbane might be a factor for the Pies but I am tipping them this weekend. No one gave them hope last weekend but they fired up and got the job done.
