WENTWORTH PARK TRACK RECORDS

Unlike many other greyhound tracks, Wentworth Park only holds three track records, all of which have been set in recent years. Incredibly, Shakey Jakey broke the 520m track record in his one-and-only race start, before quickly starting a career at stud. A list of the Wentworth Park track records can be found below;

Distance Time Greyhound Date
280m 15.74 Estranged 02/09/2015

NOTABLE PAST WINNERS AT WENTWORTH PARK

Wentworth Park has been one of the top Greyhound tracks in Australia throughout the years and as such, the honour roll at Wentworth Park is very rich, with some of Australia’s greatest Greyhounds etching their name into racing folklore at this track. With new events such as The Million Dollar Chase, the future for Wentworth Park looks bright too. Some of the notable past winners at Wentworth Park include; Fernando Bale, Shakey Jakey, Tornado Tears and Brett Lee.

WENTWORTH PARK BOX STATISTICS

Wentworth Park box statistics have been relatively even over the years, most likely due to the first turn being a fair way from the starting boxes, allowing the greyhounds to sort out their order before the turn. Box 1 has still proven to be the most successful trap for greyhounds racing at Wentworth Park however. The box has generally performed between 16-20% strike rate in recent years. Box 7 has generally been the worst performing box in recent years, however, the difference between the boxes is minimal.
