Our best bet across Saturday's AFL action is the Owens 1+ Goals / Day 20+ Disposals / Power vs Giants Under 168.5 Total Points / Morris 2+ Goals Multi at $5.52, spanning four games including Carlton hosting Brisbane in Saturday night football and the Power hosting a depleted Giants side at Adelaide Oval.
The Saints nearly upset the Swans earlier in the season at the SCG. Can they give their wildcard chances a boost with an upset win here? And Josh Fraser faces the ultimate test with the Blues taking on the reigning premiers in Saturday night football.
St Kilda Saints vs Sydney Swans
Leg 1 - Mitch Owens 1+ Goals
20 goals for the season for Mitch Owens, and he'll play an important role for the Saints on the weekend.
St Kilda are obviously without Max King, but Cooper Sharman was also a late out last week and hasn't returned for this clash with the Swans.
Owens has kicked at least one goal in 12 of his 16 games this season, including against the Swans earlier in the year. With Marshall back, we won't see Owens rucking and he will likely play a role deep forward for the majority of the contest.
Hawthorn Hawks vs North Melbourne Kangaroos
Leg 2 - Will Day 20+ Disposals
Not accumulating massive numbers, but Will Day has been super consistent since returning to this Hawthorn lineup.
Day is averaging 22.3 disposals this season, and has hit 20+ disposals in six of those seven games, recording 18 in his first game back but only playing 62% game time.
With Day's time on ground now in the early to mid 70% range, he's too good a player not to find the ball 20+ times in that period. In his last two games against North Melbourne back in 2023, he managed to record 28 and 29 disposals.
Port Adelaide Power vs GWS Giants
Leg 3 - Under 168.5 Total Points
Over the last decade, the Power and Giants have played in their fair share of low scoring contests.
From their last 11 matchups, nine have gone under the total points including the last three, and excluding the 2020 matchup with reduced quarter length, the average total points has still been 149.1 from ten games.
Although scoring has picked up slightly for the Power in recent weeks, they still feature in the lowest scoring games of any team this season, with the second lowest total points coverage rate at 32%.
Carlton Blues vs Brisbane Lions
Leg 4 - Logan Morris 2+ Goals
The Blues have certainly tightened up defensively under Josh Fraser, but slowing down Logan Morris will be a huge task.
Morris has kicked 2+ goals in 14 of his 18 games this season, including six of his last seven. In the game he only kicked one goal, he kicked four behinds.
The key forward has played well against the Blues across his short career, kicking eight goals from three games and crossing for 2+ on all three occasions, including four goals in the Round 9 meeting.
