Which teams can’t be written off? And which ones can’t hold a lead late?
This weekend, the AFL’s best and worst final-quarter teams go head-to-head when Geelong face Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
The Cats have been the strongest finishers in 2025, going 8-1 in final quarters with a percentage of 232. That means they are outscoring opponents by nearly three goals on average in the last term.
Port Adelaide, on the other hand, are yet to win a final quarter this season. They are 0-9 with a percentage of just 50, losing the final term by almost 13 points on average.
