EPL Betting Preview & Tips | Thursday 9 July

Sheffield United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

The Blades host the Wolves at Bramell Lane on Thursday, July 9 at 3.00am (AEST).

This game is an intriguing one as both clubs are pressing to play European football next season.

The Blades haven’t been great since the restart, but the win against Tottenham last week showed what Sheffield United are capable of. While they did draw against Burnley a few days later, Chris Wilder’s men could take confidence knowing that when his side is on, they can beat any team.

Meanwhile, Woles ended their eight-match unbeaten streak in the Premier League, losing to Arsenal 2-0 on the weekend. It puts their sixth position in jeopardy, but the good news for Nuno Espirito Santo is that they are four points ahead of the Blades, and have a good run home towards the end of the season.

Tip: Wolverhampton Wanderers win @ $2.10

West Ham vs Burnley

West Ham host Burnley at the London Stadium on Thursday, July 9 at 3.00am in an intriguing contest for both sides.

West Ham are looking to build on their Premier League safety after they got maximum points over Chelsea and then gained a point following their 2-2 draw at Newcastle.

Meanwhile, Burnley are only two points behind ninth placed Sheffield United and could aim for a place in the Europa League if they were to take maximum points and if the Blades drop points.

Ever since Burnley lost 5-0 to Manchester City, they have claimed seven points in three games, winning back-to-back against Watford and Crystal Palace. They shared the points last week against Sheffield United.

Tip: Burnley win @ $3.80

Everton vs Southampton

Everton host Southampton at Goodison Park on Friday, July 10 at 3.00am.

Only one point separates the two as both are eyeing for a top half table finish to gain some positives out of an interrupted season.

Southampton will be full of confidence and eager to make the most of their shock win over Manchester City on the weekend after defeated them 1-0. They will now be looking to win three consecutive matches for the first time since 2016.

They would not want to slip up against Everton, who are hot on Southampton’s heels, despite winning two games and only scoring three goals since the restart.

Everton would also want their main striker Richarlison to start hitting the back of the net as he has one goal in the last six matches and 11 for the campaign.

The Toffees would also have added motivation as they look to bounce back from their defeat to Tottenham earlier in the week.

Tip: Draw @ $3.40
