Leicester vs Tottenham
Kicking off Saturday night’s massive EPL slate of games will be a top five clash between the Foxes and Spurs.
Both sides have the same record through five games, with two wins, two draws and a loss to their name for the season to date.
Spurs came away with a strong 4-0 win at home to Crystal Palace over the weekend, while Leicester were disappointing at Manchester United, losing 1-0.
These two sides have some history in front of goals, with only Arsenal-Liverpool clashes scoring more than Leicester and Tottenham’s 40 goals in games between the two sides since 2014-15.
The Spurs are in a slump away from home in the Premier League at the moment, going winless across their past eight road matches.
On the flip side, the Foxes have won just one of their six clashes against Tottenham at the King Power Stadium.
Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane will be looking to lead their side to victories this weekend, although a draw seems like a fair result.
Prediction: Draw @ $3.40
Manchester City vs Watford
We’re only five games in to the new season, but it certainly hasn’t been a smooth start for Pep Guardiola’s side, with three points for Manchester City this weekend looking vital.
After news of Aymeric Laporte’s injury keeping him out until the new year, Guardiola opted to start John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi against a depleted Norwich side who had a number of injuries, but the Canaries still grabbed a brilliant 3-2 win.
Stones is now out for the next month, meaning Guardiola will need to tinker with his defence once again, which is the last thing he wants to do right now.
Watford, on the other hand, will be buoyed by their come-from-behind 2-2 draw with Arsenal last week in Quique Sanchez Flores’ first game as manager during his second stint with the club.
The Hornets were down 2-0 but scored twice late on, to grab just their second point of the season.
Watford are still last on the table, but could still pose a threat against City given how vulnerable they look.
The Citizens should be good enough however, and look for them to bounce back into the winners’ circle.
Prediction: Both teams to score – Yes @ $1.94
Chelsea vs Liverpool
These two sides will meet for the second time this year, after Liverpool defeated Chelsea on penalties in the European Super Cup in August.
Liverpool remain the only perfect side in the Premier League, with five wins from five starts to lead by five points – the biggest lead at this stage of the season in EPL history.
Chelsea lost 4-0 on the opening day to Manchester United but haven’t lost since, with a big Tammy Abraham-led 5-2 win over Wolves last weekend.
Both sides lost in Champions League play during the week, with the Reds going down 2-0 in Napoli, while the Blues lost 1-0 at home to Valencia.
Chelsea’s five games this season have seen 22 goals, with no side being involved in games with more goals so far this season.
This is arguably Liverpool’s toughest test of the season so far, but the Reds still should have enough in them to get all three points.
Prediction: Liverpool to win @ $1.90
