1. Third man Thaiday. It's long been noted by Blues supporters that Sam Thaiday is a grub and he and ex-Broncos teammate Justin Hodges always used to run in as the third and fourth men in during Origin biffs. He'll be without the now-retired Hodgo this year so will have some clear going when launching himself into the Origin biff, or should we say 'push and shove', as the third man in this year.
2. They steal New South Welshmen. It is around this time of the year where the Daily Telegraph starts to whip up the propaganda about NSW-born players playing for Queensland. From Greg Inglis to Israel Folau, Scott Sattler to Billy Moore were all born in Waratah state and Blues supports and former greats don't ever forget it. Just ask former Blues hooker Benny Elias - "They talk about their Queensland passion and they have had some great players over the years. But a lot of them were born outside Queensland.
The Queenslanders would cheat, lie and steal to win an Origin series. They just don't care. They sell their scruples to win a series over NSW. Unbelievable."
It's alleged that 18% of the 179 to have represented the Maroons weren't born in Queensland so they may well have a point..

3. Greg Inglis is a traitor. While we've touched on this in the previous point, the NSW-born Queenslander who burns the Blues most deeply is none other than Greg Inglis. Inglis was born in Kempsey and grew up in Macksville, NSW. He played his first game of football in QLD for Wavell State High School and then the Norths Devils which qualified him to represent the Maroons. It's a selection that enrages the Blues annually given Inglis has consistently been one of the best players in the game for the last decade and will arguably be inducted as an Immortal in future years.
4. Nate Myles is a grub. Between leading with his head and hitting blokes late, Myles can niggle with the best of them. If you've got him in your team then you love him, if you don't, he's the world's biggest grub!
5. They just keep on winning. They've won 9 of the last 10 series and are just so arrogant about it. However with the ageing Maroons line up there is some light at the end of the tunnel for the Blues faithful. If they can't chalk a series up this year, you would think they won't be far off in years to come.
