1. Their captain and forward leader, Paul Gallen is a grub. They say there's no where to hide in the Origin arena but you can say the same for Paul Gallen. If he's got you in his sights he rarely misses, just ask Nate Myles. He's the king of the niggle and his 4-0 heavyweight boxing record says he can back it up. To the Blues, he's a legend. To the Maroons, he's the world's biggest grub!
2. Blake Ferguson drinks cruisers. To say that he's a maligned character would be an misunderstatement. He's had a host of indiscretions both on and off the field. How could we forget his infamous declaration that he was leaving the Sharks to go tot he Raiders so he could 'win a competition' - that worked out well. He ended up on a Canberra rooftop sinking cruisers with his good mate Josh Dugan; as if the Maroons didn't have enough reason to hate the talented back - the bloke drinks cruisers!! To his credit, he has put his best foot forward in trying to get his career and life back on track, just don't expect from the Maroons during the Origin period.
3. David Klemmer has proven to be a handful for the Maroons in recent years. He's got good size and rather mobile for a big man. He's got a toughness and an arrogance which the Maroons haven't taken too kindly to. He certainly doesn't take a step back in going forward and the QLD enforcers won't forget the time he put his hand in Sam Thaiday's mouth during a mele last year.
4. Greg Bird is a grub. Bird is the 4th most suspended player in NRL history with only career bad boys John Hopoate, Luke O'Donnell and Craig Smith ahead of him. With a rap sheet as bad as his, there's little surprise Greg Bird is high on the QLD supporter's list to be labelled a grub. If there's a stink on, Bird will fly from afar to be involved.
5. Aaron Woods has the worst hair cut in the game. Woods genuinely looks like he hasn't seen the barber since the last time the Tigers won a premiership. Lately he has been spending more time on the field fixing his mane than he has taking hit ups.
