SANDOWN – RACE 2 1200m 13:35 AEST
RHAMES ($2.20)
Began his career in excellent fashion, scoring back to back wins before going for a spell. Resumed last start at Sandown and ran home strongly for a solid second – that run was on Heavy but was still very solid. Back to a Good track here should be suitable and he should prove tough to beat.
WARWICK FARM – RACE 2 1300m 14:00 AEST
HULK ($4.60)
Yet to score a win in his five-start career, however, he continues to run well – he’s run a narrow second three times in his career and it only looks a matter of time before Hulk notches up his first win. Went down narrowly at this track first up and should have taken improvement from that run. Today could be his day.
WARWICK FARM – RACE 5 1100m 15:35 AEST
LANIGERA ($3.10)
Began racing in Melbourne, but it didn’t take Lanigera long to strike up North. He struck a Heavy track first up at Randwick before heading to Newcastle where he scored a dominant 3L victory. Was extremely impressed with that run, he was able to control all the way and was strong to the line. This looks like another winnable race and if he finds the front with ease, he should be hard to get past.

SANDOWN – RACE 3 2100m 14:10 AEST
THE GATTING BALL ($17.00)
The Gatting Ball has failed to find this prep, finishing a long distance from the winner in both of his runs, however, he was coming off a long spell and now gets out to a more suitable distance at the 2100m. Form last prep was good and had scored a win at this grade. Obviously needs to improve on his two runs this prep but has the talent to run well.
