SANDOWN – RACE 3 1000m 14:10 AEDT
HARD PRESS ($3.10)
Resuming here from a long spell but I’m confident will return an improved Colt on the back of an impressive (albeit short) opening preparation. On debut met Sukoshi (who is the second favourite here) but was never on the track after jumping from gate 16. In his second start, led and won easily as a $1.50 favourite. Confident he will have improved again and can turn the tables on Sukoshi.
WARWICK FARM – RACE 2 2110m 14:35 AEDT
LOVESEAT ($2.00)
Looks to jump a very short favourite here and likely to be in the red come race time. That hasn’t put me off however, as she was super impressive last start when jumping out to a proper staying trip. Drops back to 2110m here but I think she should be able to demonstrate her staying ability once again and looks extremely hard to beat.
WARWICK FARM – RACE 7 1100m 17:30 AEDT
EMBRACER ($2.30)
Looks to have a class edge on this field (if that’s at all possible at BM70 grade) with the second favourite coming out of Maiden grade. Noted frontrunner who looks to get all the favours out in front today and control the race to his liking. Has trialled well leading into this and with Tim Clark on board I think he looks a very solid bet.

WARWICK FARM – RACE 6 1400m 16:55 AEDT
SHADOW FLIGHT ($15.00)
Was highly unfancied last start, jumping $150-1 in BM78 grade for a 2.5L defeat behind Sausedge. Ran out of his skin that day, putting in a strong last 600m and performing well above market expectations. Sticks at 1400m here but there should be a bit of pace on and if the favourite fails, the race is fairly open. Looks a decent chance if can hold his form.
