BLUEY’S BEST BETS – 11/09/2019
CANTERBURY – RACE 2 1200m 14:00 AEST
DANCE HALL GIRL ($2.20)
Showed talent in her debut preparation, notching up a second in her first run before going on to a 6L romp at Kembla Grange. Resumed in a similar level to this at Warwick Farm after a long spell & didn’t miss a beat, scoring a strong victory for Hyeronimus. Looks a promising type and should run well again here.
BENDIGO – RACE 4 1600m 14:10 AEST
MIAMI BOUND ($2.60)
Talented Danny O’Brien trained 3YO filly who looks to have come back from her spell extremely well. Has only had the two runs to date, but has been impressive in both, particularly last start where she scored her debut win after showing an electric turn of foot despite being held up. Can take another step here and the extra 200m should suit.
CANTERBURY – RACE 6 1900m 16:20 AEST
ACHONDRITE ($3.90)
Should be able to get a gun run behind the second favourite Rapido Chaparro, who I think looks under the odds on the back of his two poor runs at this similar distance. Achondrite has been running well without winning and looks primed here third up. Should be fully fit and expecting a good showing.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
CANTERBURY – RACE 7 1550m 16:55 AEST
THE BALD EAGLE ($10.00)
Has been rocks or diamonds this prep, scoring three wins yet finishing out of the placings in the two other runs. Was good last start when he scored a narrow win for Avdulla at Canterbury when leading all the way. Avdulla can use the inside barrier to his advantage and put The Bald Eagle in a good spot again. No reason why he can’t run well again here.
