CAULFIELD – RACE 2 1200m 13:00 AEST
DIAMOND EFFORT ($3.50)
Started off his career with an underwhelming 9th at Wangaratta before going for a long spell and returning a much more mature & talented horse. Impressed last prep, scoring two wins and a narrow second. Beat all bar Pippie last start & that form looks great. Looks to be a progressive type and should run well here again.
CAULFIELD – RACE 6 1100m 15:30 AEST
VEGA MAGIC ($2.20)
This supremely talented gelding resumes here and has been well supported in early markets. Failed in his one run during the Autumn carnival but something was clearly amiss or simply didn’t enjoy the track conditions. Has a significant class edge on this field and if right, should be winning this.
CAULFIELD – RACE 7 1200m 16:10 AEST
PIPPIE ($2.70)
Has impressed this prep, scoring back to back wins in dominant fashion. The aforementioned Diamond Effort will be a good indicator of the form early in the day, however I’m confident Pippie will take care of this field. She has scored by 3 lengths with something in hand in both runs and can improve again. Should get a great run in transit and prove too strong once again.

ROSEHILL – RACE 4 2000m 13:55 AEST
MONSIEUR SISU ($11.00)
The Rosehill track looks to be bottomless at the moment and no doubt will be Heavy by race time. Monsieur Sisu has shown a liking for Heavy tracks (6: 3-2-1) and has been racing in top form recently, despite not having a win to his name. Kathy O’Hara should be able to sit near the lead on him and the track conditions should make it tough for other runners to make up any ground. Expecting another solid outing.
