CASINO FOURTEEN ($3.00)
Resumed last start at the synthetic track at Geelong and went average, finishing 3.5L away from the eventual winner Radical Candor. He was unraced previously on the dirt and it can be extremely hard to return or debut on the synthetic, so the first up run was pleasing. Expecting a marked improvement back to the grass and with the second favourite jumping up in class I’m happy to go with him here.
CANTERBURY – RACE 4 1580m 15:10 AEST
MOANA JEWEL ($3.10)
Up in class last start after racing well in previous weeks and handled the jump nicely, finishing half a length second. Gets another go here today and looks to get a beautiful spot one out, one back. Rachel King is riding well at the moment & expecting another good showing here today.
CANTERBURY – RACE 6 1100m 16:20 AEST
ROOSEVELT ($2.20)
Talented Godolphin gelding who resumes here today after a short spell. Trialled well behind Sylvia’s Mother who has since resumed and scored a brilliant Flemington victory. Back in class from last prep here and looks beautifully placed first up. Should put in a good return here and be hard to beat.

Was up in class his last two starts and ran poorly in both runs. Prior to that had three consecutive top 2 finishes, including a win at Geelong. Back down to BM64 here which is the key and expect another bold showing at odds.
