Won impressively first up when sat behind leaders and quickened nicely. Last start had excuses when caught wide and bumped numerous times, yet still managed to fight to the line for 2nd. Barrier is a query, but I’m confident Graff will be able to show his class last and win here.
Caulfield - Race 5 1100m 14:50 AEST
WHYPEEO ($3.70)
Was first up in G3 last start when it looked like fitness got the better of him and finished 2L behind Ball of Muscle. Ball of Muscle subsequently went on to win last week against some quality runners. Whypeeo will have taken great improvement from that run and if runs up to form from last prep will be very tough to hold out.
Rosehill - Race 3 1800m 13:25 AEST
TARKA ($2.50)
Small field for Tarka here as he looks to add his fourth consecutive win. Last start won narrowly in the G2 Stan Fox Stakes, but looks like the extra distance here will suit. James McDonald retains the ride here which is always a positive and should be very hard to beat in this field.

Favourites have had a terrific record in the “Get Out Stakes” of late, but in a wide-open field I think we could see that change. Goodfella will go to the front and is always tough to run down. He is extremely fit and in top form at the moment including a win two starts ago. He could be tough to get past in the last and should give a good sight in the straight.
