Flemington - Race 2 1400m 12:50 AEDT
GREYWORM ($2.50)
Absolutely flew first up at Moonee Valley to score an impressive 2.25L win as a red hot favourite. Last start jumped $1.60F and travelled well up until the turn. Unfortunately, did not handle the bend well at all, costing it a few lengths before picking up like a good type late to finish only 0.2L off the eventual winner. Obviously a talented type and should have won last start, looks to go one better here.
Flemington – Race 7 1400m 16:00 AEDT
ANGELIC RULER ($3.00)
Starting to build a really nice record and has only missed out on the place once. Measured up last start at Group 2 level, suffering a narrow defeat from the talented Qafila. Gets another really good chance here and the spacious Flemington track should suit her racing pattern.
Flemington - Race 8 2000m 16:35 AEDT
AVILIUS ($2.00)
This superbly talented horse unfortunately draws barrier 1 here which could be trouble but I think he is far too talented for this field regardless. Has come back an absolute treat this prep, winning both of his races with something in hand both times. Should be peaking here and with an even run in transit he will be very tough to beat.

VEGADAZE ($10.00)
Vegadaze suffered his only defeat last start finishing within half a length of The Autumn Sun two weeks ago in a galliant frontrunning effort. The Autumn Sun looks very hard to beat here but he was not as dominant as he has been in previous starts. He no doubt will be well backed but if there’s any chinks in his armour Vegadaze can give him a run for his money again.
