Zousain is a talented horse and has trialled well leading into this but comes up against the rock-hard fit Tin Hat who has become an iron horse of late. Has led and won his last three and they have all rated highly, run in quick time! Yulong January could challenge him for the lead but Tin Hat should take some catching here.

OUR PEAKY BLINDERS ($1.85)
Travels to South Australia after putting in an underwhelming Melbourne Spring campaign. He seemed to return well first up at Caulfield with a solid third to Heptagon and should only improve from that. Back in class here looks the key and should be gifted a nice run from the talented Kayla Crowther.
Caulfield - Race 9 1800m 17:30 AEDT
AVILIUS ($2.30)
Was extremely impressive first up when storming home (with something in hand) to defeat his rivals in the G3 Clyon Cup. Looked like he could have been a bit underdone there and will take great improvement from that run. His odds for the Australian Cup were slashed after that and he looks hard to beat here.

REDKIRK WARRIOR ($18.00)
Was my best value bet two weeks ago at Caulfield, when found himself 8L back and wide rounding the turn. He finished strongly there to finish only 1.75L off the eventual winner. Comes up against the talented Alizee here but this price simply looks too big for the former G1 winner.
