Tennis Betting Tips – Australian Open Day 4 Multi

We commence the second-round matches on Wednesday, including seeds Frances Tiafoe and Casper Ruud, while an Australian wildcard might have her work cut out for her.

LEG 1 - Frances Tiafoe

Been far from great over the last 12 months, but on hard courts, especially at a major, he should be too strong against Comesana.

Despite a 14-13 record on hard courts over the past 52 weeks, he’s 5-2 on the surface against players ranked between 51 and 100.

Comesana, on the other hand, is 6-9 against top-100 opposition in that period on hard courts and 3-6 against top-50 players, with two of those three wins coming against clay specialists.

LEG 2 - Francisco Cerundolo

Cerundolo faced Dzumhur twice in 2025. Their first meeting on clay went three sets, but their most recent clash on hard court in Paris was far more straightforward, with Cerundolo winning 6-3, 6-3.

Dzumhur is 7-11 on hard courts since August and has failed to beat a top-50 player across six attempts.

The Argentine should be too good here.

LEG 3 - Anna Bondar To Win A Set

The prices in this matchup are surprising, with Bondar expected to be much closer to favourite against Sonmez.

Sonmez impressed in qualifying and caused a major first-round upset against Alexandrova, but when these two met last year it was Bondar who won in straight sets.

Bondar’s ranking has improved since then while Sonmez’s has slipped. It would be a surprise to see such a dramatic reversal 12 months on.

LEG 4 - Elina Svitolina 2-0

Svitolina remains one of the most reliable performers at majors and has consistently reached the second week throughout her career.

Against players ranked outside the top 100 at hard-court majors, she has won 12 of her last 13 matches in straight sets dating back to 2017.

Klimovicova is a promising 21-year-old, but she has faced just three top-100 opponents across her career, none inside the top 50. World number 73 Ruzic beat her 6-1, 6-2 last month, and a similar scoreline looks likely.

LEG 5 - Iva Jovic

A strong way to round out the multi with 18-year-old rising star Iva Jovic.

The American’s draw has opened up nicely in the first quarter following the exits of Kostyuk and Alexandrova, giving her a genuine path toward a deep tournament run.
