NFL Tips – Bad News Bears in this $12 SGM

The last game of Week 1 will be another divisional matchup as the Vikings head to Chicago to play the Bears.

Minnesota Vikings (0-0) at Chicago Bears (0-0)

The Vikings were one of the more surprising teams last season, finishing with an impressive 14-3 record. They didn't get far in the playoffs, losing 27-9 against the Rams. In the offseason, they weren't content and picked up 1st round pick J.J. McCarthy and shipped Darnold to the Seahawks. Let's see if it was the right move. While for the Bears, they fired Matt Eberflus after a combined 14-32 record since 2022. They've got 1st round pick QB Caleb Williams and new head coach Ben Johnson has been picked to improve their inconsistency. Here are my NFL SGM multi tips for Tuesday's massive clash!

Leg #1 - Vikings WIN

The trip to Chicago should not be an issue for the Vikings and I think they pick up the dub in Week 1. They love playing in the Windy City, winning their last 5 games here. Going back to last year, the Vikings are 9-2 in their last 11 games and 4-1 ATS in September. Chicago have a lot of question marks for me and have lost 10 of their last 11 games and have been also poor at home, losing their last 5.

Leg #2 - Under 51.5 pts

This should be a safe total to put into this SGM. The Under has a nice 7-1 record in the Bears last 8 home openers. It's also 6-3 when the Bears play a NFC North opp and 8-3 when the Bears are playing on Tuesday. Minny are 4-2 against the Under on the road too.

Leg #3 - Justin Jefferson Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Justin Jefferson comes off 10 TD catches last year and he scored 5 of those in 3 of his last 5 games. He also picked up a TD catch in the last clash with the Bears. Rookie J.J. McCarthy will be leaning on JJ when the Vikings get in the redzone and I can see him getting 10+ targets.

Leg #4 (Value) - Aaron Jones Anytime Touchdown Scorer

After moving from divisional rivals the Packers in 2024, Jones had an impressive 1st season with the Vikings. He finished with his best rushing yards total (1138) and also carried the ball 255 times, also the highest in his career. It didn't really relate to many TD scores - just 5. However, he did score in both games against the Bears when the Vikings swept the series last year.

Same Game Multi

Vikings WIN / Under 51.5 pts / Justin Jefferson Anytime Touchdown Scorer / Aaron Jones Anytime Touchdown Scorer = $12.00
