Magic Round has fast become a fan favourite and a pilgrimage for true NRL diehards.
The sixth edition of Magic Round hits Brisbane this weekend, with 16 teams set to light up Suncorp Stadium. The Sea Eagles will be sitting this one out in 2025.
We have put the nerds to work and crunched the numbers across the first five Magic Rounds to see which teams have thrived in Brisbane and which ones have struggled to make a mark.
There are a few surprises too. The Rabbitohs sit on top despite mixing their form recently, narrowly edging out the hometown Broncos. The Raiders are the only other team boasting a 4–1 record.
Down the other end of the ladder, the Bulldogs and Dragons remain winless in Magic Round. The Dragons have had one less crack at it after sitting out last year’s event with a bye, however.
The Dogs are $1.25 favourites to finally break through against the Titans this weekend. Will they get the monkey off their back?
