2023 NBA Mar 14 Betting Predictions

NBA fans, get ready because it's time for another round of hoops action in the morning! Thursday's slate is headlined by the NBA finals rematch between the Nuggets and Heat in South Beach.

Denver Nuggets (45-20) at Miami Heat (35-28)

The Nuggets snagged a solid 6-point win over the Toronto Raptors, tallying up a score of 125 to 119 right on home court. Nikola Jokic was on fire, racking up a triple-double with a whopping 35 points, 17 boards and 12 assists. They're on a hot streak too, with three wins on the trot. In their last five games, they've been averaging around 122.6 points per game. Plus, they've already taken down the Miami Heat in all three of their clashes this season, with the latest one being a 6-point win at 103 to 97 on March 1st. Michael Porter Jr. was leading the charge with a solid 30 points. No injury dramas to sweat about either too.

The Heat have been on a rough trot lately, dropping their last three games. On Monday, they copped a narrow defeat from the Wizards, going down 110 to 108. Miami's been sitting at an even 5 wins and 5 losses in their last 10 games at home. Sadly, we've got a couple of key players out with injuries - Herro's sidelined along with Kevin Love. Jimmy Butler's a bit up in the air, but he's likely to lace up and hit the court. They're gunning to settle the score after last year's finals heartbreak and hoping to notch their first win against them this season.

Denver's been smashing it lately, winning 9 out of their last 10 games and dominating Miami with an 11-1 record in their last 12 matchups. Miami's struggling at home, going 0-6 against the spread against Denver. Looks like Denver's got the edge.

Stadium Record

Miami are 5-5 in their last 10 at home. Denver are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games.

Head to Head Record

The Nuggets are dominating the Heat at the moment with a 9-1 record.

Cleveland Cavaliers (41-23) at New Orleans Pelicans (38-25)

The Cavs have been on a bit of a slide, dropping their last two games. On Tuesday, they went down 117 to 111 against the Suns, Durant was on fire, dropping 37 points. But Garland got in on the action, putting up 30 points despite the loss. We've got our fingers crossed for Donovan Mitchell to get back on the court, but it's touch and go. Unfortunately, Mobley's still out of the game. On the bright side, they've been holding it down on the road, scoring a solid 7 wins out of their last 10 away games.

The Pelicans are smashing it! They're gunning for their fifth straight win and they're on a roll after winning all three games on their recent road trip. They took down the Atlanta Hawks by 13 points, with a final score of 116 to 103 on Monday. They've been racking up the points too, averaging 120.2 in their last five games. Their defence has been rock solid too, only allowing an average of 104.2 points against in the same stretch. In their last home game, they showed the Pacers who's boss, smashing them 129 to 102 by a massive 27 points. The Pelicans are on fire!

New Orleans has been holding their own at home, winning 4 out of their last 6 games. Plus, they've got a killer record against Cleveland at home, winning a whopping 11 out of their last 12 matchups. Looks like New Orleans knows how to defend their home court against Cleveland.

Stadium Record

New Orleans are 5-5 in their last 10 at home. Cleveland has a poor 1-11 record in their last 12. Cleveland are 3-8 SU in their last 11 games against New Orleans.

Head to Head Record

The Pels have won 7 of the last 10 meetings.

Golden State Warriors (33-30) at Dallas Mavericks (37-28)

The Warriors snagged the win by 10 points on Tuesday against the Spurs, with a final score of 112 to 102. It was a cracker of a win for the Warriors, putting an end to their two-game losing streak. Curry's out with an ankle injury for the next match against the Mavericks. No worries though, Jonathan Kuminga stepped up big time in his absence, scoring 22 points. How 'bout veteran Chris Paul's performance in his last game? He nailed it with 19 points, 9 boards and 8 assists. They've been impressive on the road too, winning 9 of their last 10 so they should be a tough matchup for the mavs.

The Mavs absolutely smashed the Bulls by a whopping 35 points, with a final score of 127 to 92 in Chicago on Tuesday. Luka Doncic was on fire, scoring 27 points, while Dereck Lively II chipped in with 22 points of his own. The Mavs' biggest lead was a massive 37 points! They're on a roll, aiming for their 4th straight win. Plus, Luka's been dominating lately, pulling off an impressive 7 straight triple-doubles. Their average points scored in the last 5 games? A whopping 123.8 points. But we'll see if the Warriors bring their defensive gameplan.

Golden State's last 5 away games have all been unders and Dallas' last 6 home games saw 5 unders as well.

Stadium Record

Dallas are 6-4 in their last 10 at home. Golden State are 2-2 in their last 4.
