NBA Tips & Betting Preview | Tuesday 1 November

Philadelphia 76ers (3-4) at Washington Wizards (3-3)

The 76ers are starting to find some winning form after 2 straight wins and they'll look to end this road trip with a 3 game-winning streak. Joel Embiid led the way in their latest win over the Bulls with 25 points and a key 3-pointer in the latter stages. However, he is questionable for an unknown reason coming into this matchup so that's something to monitor. If he doesn't suit up, look for Maxey and Harden to lead the offence in his absence.

The Wizards are looking to avoid a 3rd straight win in this clash with the 76ers. They're coming off an 18-point loss against the Celtics and their offence was woeful. They shot just 38% from the field and 21% from three-point range. However, they have won 2 of 3 at home this season and will be keen to bounce back.

Even if Embiid can't play, these are the types of games that the 76ers should win comfortably. The Wizards have struggled in their last 2 games and it's hard to see that improving against a solid Philly defence.

Stadium Record

Washington holds a 4-2 record in their last 6 games at home. Philadelphia is 4-2 in their last 6 games at the venue.

Head to Head Record

The 76ers are 10-3 in their last 13 games against the Wizards.

Best Bet

Philadelphia 76ers -4.5 = $1.89

Indiana Pacers (3-4) at Brooklyn Nets (1-5)

The Pacers are back in Brooklyn on Tuesday after a nice 125-116 win over the Nets on Sunday. Impressive rookie Bennedict Mathurin led the charge with a career-high 32 pts and Tyrese Haliburton was also excellent with 26 pts. They'll now look for a 3-game winning streak to end this 5-game road trip and their confidence should be high after just beating the Nets. They should also get Myles Turner into the rotation after missing the last game.

The Nets should be desperate to end a 4-game losing streak as they face the Pacers once again. The major trouble for the Nets is their leaky defence as they're allowing 120 points in their last 5 games. Their offence has been good between the likes of Irving and Durant. Irving scored 35 pts against the Pacers last time out and Durant added 26. However, they need to figure out their defensive issues quickly.

The fact that the Pacers just beat the same Nets lineup by 9 points makes them a solid underdog bet. They have an excellent covering record in Brooklyn at 9-1 and shouldn't have many problems exploiting the Nets leaky defence again.

Stadium Record

Brooklyn are 1-5 in their last 6 games at home. Indiana is 7-3 in their last 10 games when playing on the road against Brooklyn.

Head to Head Record

The Pacers won the first matchup of the season 125-116 and it was their first win in the last 8 meetings.

Best Bet

Indiana Pacers +8.5 = $1.87

Memphis Grizzlies (4-2) at Utah Jazz (5-2)

The Grizzlies 2 game winning streak ended in a 1-point loss against the Jazz on Sunday so they'll be looking for revenge in Tuesday's matchup. However, they were missing the talented Ja Morant and he should be able to return from illness for this clash. But if he can't suit up, the likes of Bane and Brooks will be the key on offence. Bane comes off 32 pts against the Jazz and Brooks added 30 pts.

The Jazz are definitely surprising the West with their 5-2 record after losing Mitchell/Gobert in the offseason. But the likes of Olynyk and Markkanen have been able to fill the void. Both players are coming off 23 pts in their 1-point win over the Grizzlies on Sunday at home. They face a tough 3 game road trip after this contest so they'll be looking to build on their winning momentum in this matchup.

These two sides totalled 247 pts just a few days ago and we can see a similar high-scoring affair on Tuesday. The Grizzlies are giving up 123 pts per game in their last 5 and the Over is 5-0 when they play the Jazz in Utah. The potential return of Ja Morant should also boost the Grizz offence.

Stadium Record

Utah are 18-4 in their last 22 games at home. Memphis are 1-4 in their last 5 games when playing on the road against Utah.

Head to Head Record

The Jazz beat the Grizzlies on Sunday by a point and they hold a 7-3 record in the last 10 meetings.

Best Bet

Over 234.5 = $1.89
