BLUEY’S BEST BETS - 3/11/2020
- KWOI HOI ($2.30)
Kwoi Hoi was an impressive winner last start at Kyneton, scoring by 4 lengths in Maiden grade. He races at Kyneton here today again and despite moving up in class, still faces a field that looks well below his ability. He has plenty of upside to come and will relish staying at 1800m. Will take beating here.
- THE GENERAL ($4.60)
The General has been a steady improver throughout his career, moving through the grades nicely and scoring a few wins along the way. He’s won four times from just ten starts, including two wins from his past three runs. He is up in class here, but is in red hot form at the moment and looks the one to beat here again.
- NIGHT PASSAGE ($2.90)
Night Passage has certainly been hit and miss this prep; she was beaten 4.2L last start, finishing twelfth when jumping $2.80 at Horsham but prior to that scored a dominant 6.8L victory at Ballarat. Her best is very good and I’m tipping she will have a bounce back performance here. If she can replicate her run two starts ago, she will be very hard to beat.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- COCKY ROCKY ($21)
Favourite Tara Jasmine looks very hard to beat here, but if she doesn’t run up to standard, there could be some value in the resuming Cocky Rocky. The gelding is having his first start for the Wain stable and has been given three trials in preparation for this, so I’m tipping he will be ready to fire first up. In his last start, he won against Zac Attack, the horse which Tara Jasmine defeated last start. If he can fire first up, he might be a chance at nice odds.
