- LOVEPLANET ($3.20)
The lightly raced 4-year-old Loveplanet looks very hard to beat here. He was beaten on debut at Pakenham, but followed that up with a six-length romp at Yarra Valley and hasn’t put a foot wrong since. He resumed this prep with a strong win at Sandown Hillside over Caffrey & can continue his rise here.
FLEMINGTON RACE 3 – 13:15 AEST
ZESTY BELLE ($4.80)
Zesty Belle has been in solid form so far this prep & looks just about ready to win. She hit the line strongly against the pattern first up and was subsequently well backed the following start, but just got too far back and couldn’t reel in the leaders. Flemington will provide her with 1100m of straight here, so she should be able to pick off a bit more ground than her last two starts.
- KOLDING ($4.60)
The All Aged Stakes winner resumes here ahead of his Spring preparation & looks a great chance to pick up where he left off. He comes up against the enigmatic Fasika, who looks a short favourite. The distance may be a touch short of his best, but Kolding is a star performer and can resume here in style.

Overseas raider Hosier has been in imperious form in his three Australian runs, winning by 3.75L last start, 4L the start prior & 5.5L in his first start. He takes another step up in grade here and also steps up to 2000m in distance. He certainly looks the one to beat but these new challenges certainly don’t make the price look attractive. Instead, the consistent Tooradin looks over the odds after a narrow defeat in this grade last start. He’s notched two wins this prep and looks a solid bet here.
