- ESTA LA ROCA ($3.30)
Esta La Roca returns here after a short spell, having last run at Moonee Valley in late February. She performed well in a much higher grade there, finishing 2.35L away from Lesage in BM78 grade. She drops back to BM64 here and the last two times she raced in this grade, she won comfortably both times.
WARWICK FARM RACE 4 – 14:35 AEST
- HIBISCUS LADY ($5.50)
Hibiscus Lady resumes here today after two solid trials. She won nicely first up in her last prep, sitting outside the leader and proving too strong in the straight. She continued to race well throughout the prep in harder grade, but was unable to score another win. This race looks well within her limit and she should be ready to go first up.
WARWICK FARM RACE 6 – 15:45 AEST
- BETHENCOURT ($2.30)
Bethencourt looks the one to beat here after an unlucky third last start. He had a dream run until the turn, where he was blocked for a run until it was too late, eventually finishing just under a length away. Prior to that, resumed well at Canterbury, sitting near the rear and hitting the line promisingly. He’s third up today and looks primed for victory now.
BLUEY’S BEST VALUE
- SCANTOON ($9)
Bermadez has been impressive in his two career starts, winning by 5L on debut and then backing it up at Pakenham last start. He’s up in grade here though so I’m willing to take him on. Scantoon was good at Cranbourne first up behind Seb Song, finishing just a neck away. He’ll be much improved here and can sit near the lead.
